The ESAB OK Tigrod ER316L (Part No. 163032R150) is a premium AWS A5.9 / ASME SFA5.9 ER316L solid stainless steel TIG filler rod designed for Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG) of AISI 316, 316L, 318, and similar molybdenum-alloyed austenitic stainless steels. Manufactured in the Czech Republic, this filler rod delivers excellent corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength, and superior weld quality for demanding industrial applications.
With a 3.2 mm diameter and 1000 mm length, the filler rod is ideal for welding medium to heavy-section stainless steel components. Its low-carbon (L) composition minimizes carbide precipitation during welding, reducing the risk of intergranular corrosion while providing excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and aggressive chemical environments.
